Tanvi Sharma, born on 22 December 2008, hails from Hoshiarpur, a city in the Indian state of Punjab. She is one of India’s most promising young badminton players, known for her aggressive playing style and rapid rise in both junior and senior international circuits. Despite her young age, Tanvi has already made a name for herself on the global stage.

Tanvi’s family has played a huge role in her journey. Her mother, Meena Sharma, is a former national-level volleyball player, who later became a trained badminton coach to support and train her daughters. While details about her father are less frequently mentioned in the media, it is known that the family has been highly supportive of Tanvi's sporting dreams from the beginning. Her father played an important role in managing her early training and travel schedules.

In terms of education, Tanvi is balancing her studies along with professional training.
